i would describe my photographic style as documentary with touches of intentional portraiture. i thrive in collecting real moments that are happening throughout the wedding day but i also do not shy away when i see an opportunity to make a more formal photograph.
on average i deliver around 500-700 photos, but it varies with each wedding. i am a firm believer in quality over quantity. to me, more ≠ better.
10 weeks from the date of the event!
i generally do not send preview photos out! couples that work with me are excited about receiving their gallery and seeing it for the first time in it’s entirety. during the editing process, i am carefully selecting and color-grading each and every photo. this takes a lot of time, and i often take breaks between edits so that I can look at the gallery with fresh eyes before delivering it to the couple (this is the perfectionist in me).
i do! if your venue requires a certificate of liability insurance form from me, please let me know and i’ll be happy to provide it for you.
if you decide you’d like to have me as your photographer, i’ll need a signed contract (which you will receive via email) and a 50% non-refundable retainer of the agreed upon price to reserve your date. the other 50% is due a week before the wedding — that’s it! easy peasy.
i accept zelle for electronic payments (most major banks have this), cash or a mailed check.
it depends! although i have photographed many weddings on my own, having a second photographer is beneficial for larger-sized weddings or weddings where the timeline is overlapping.
i absolutely do! all weddings outside of san diego are subject to additional travel fees. don’t let this scare you though, we can make it work!
