i would describe my photographic style as documentary with touches of intentional portraiture. i thrive in collecting the raw, natural, organic moments that are happening throughout the wedding day but i also do not shy away when i see an opportunity to make a more formal or creative photograph.
i’ve been photographing weddings for 10+ years, and have been a full-time freelance photographer since 2017. in addition to weddings, i’ve photographed a wide range of genre’s including various events, portraiture, families, maternity, and the list goes on. i also assist many photographers with their own weddings as well. throughout everything, i’ve learned flexibility and adaptation, allowing me the confidence to make a photograph in whatever situation i may find myself in.
it varies with each wedding depending on the amount of coverage i am booked for. on average i deliver around 500-700 photos. i believe in quality over quantity (and i’ve never received any complaints about not having enough photos!)
10 weeks from the date of the event!
i generally do not send preview photos out! couples that work with me are excited about receiving their gallery and seeing it for the first time in it’s entirety. during the editing process, i am carefully selecting and color-grading each and every photo. this takes a lot of time, and i often take breaks between edits so that I can look at the gallery with fresh eyes before delivering it to the couple (this is the perfectionist in me).
i do! if your venue requires a certificate of liability insurance form from me, please let me know and i’ll be happy to provide it for you.
after chatting through all the details and having a good idea of what you’re looking for, i’ll send over a quote for review. once the quote is accepted, i’ll send a contract and invoice for payment. generally, i do a 50% non-refundable retainer of the agreed upon rate to reserve your date. the remainder is the day of the wedding — that’s it! easy peasy.
i accept zelle for electronic payments (most major banks have this).
it depends! although i have photographed many weddings on my own, having a second photographer is beneficial for larger-sized weddings or weddings where the timeline is overlapping.
communication (this is huge!), clients and guests feeling loved and welcomed, a collaborative experience with other vendors and an overall great experience.
i absolutely do! all weddings outside of NYC are subject to additional travel fees. don’t let this scare you though, we can make it work!
