Who Am I?

After studying Eletrical Engineering at Cal Poly Pomona, I realised my passion was in Alternate Media. I started off in the field of Alternate Media Services in 2004 as a electronic text editor (e-text editor) for the Disability Resource Center at Cal Poly Pomona. I was promoted to the lead editor in 2006 and was offered a full time professional staff member position. As the only Accessible Format Production Specialist, my responsibility was to help Cal Poly Pomona and every other California State University (CSU) transition smoothly into Section 508 compliancy.

Under the Accessible Technology Initiative, I provided Tier II technical support to the campus faculty and staff. I presented workshops through both Instructional And Information Technology Learning (I&IT) and Organizational Development And Training (ODT). My specialization is in Optical Character Recognition (OCR) in documentation and interfacing it with Text-To-Speech Software (TTS). The best way to describe my work expereince is that I will "create order out of chaos".

In my spare time I am the lead photographer for Formula Arts and will sometimes be a production assistant for Wong Fu Productions while updating the companies timeline.

Goals

I believe in saving time, increasing productivity, and maintain a higher standard of quality. By going green, we eliminate procedures that in the past we onced believe were "the only way" and we will find "a better way" that will be usable by everyone. I believe in promoting functionality over flashiness.

Values

I firmly believes that everyone is created equal. The same should also apply to digital media. I will always approach everything "Design With All In Mind" mantra.
